Day 1 Yangon arrival
Arrival Yangon International Airport, you will meet your tour guide and transfer to hotel .Then, start your city tour of Yangon, visit Botataung Pagoda, a famous landmark on Yangon’s waterfront where one can see Buddha's hair relic and Nanthida Jetty to see people coming and going for work from either side of Yangon River. And then continue to Sule Pagoda, Maha Bandoola Park with Independence Monument, located at the heart of the city, Chaukhtatgyi reclining Buddha image and Bogyoke market- a shopping market with more than 2000 shops selling all kinds of products of Myanmar, lacquer ware, Gems shops and all sorts of handicraft. Evening visit to the 2,500 years old magnificent Shwedagon Pagoda. At sunset, the Shwedagon offers visitor a spectacular show of lights and shadows. Overnight at Hotel in Yangon.
Day 2 Yangon – Kyaikhtiyo ( By Car)
After early breakfast, drive to Kin Pun Base Camp (210 km – 5 hours). Continue to Kyaikhtiyo the “Golden Rock”, a huge boulder completely covered by gold leaves and delicately balanced on the edge of a cliff. From Kin Pun, we have to drive 11 km to the intermediate point by Local Truck and proceed to summit by palanquin , check in at hotel. Visit Kyaiktiyo; Golden Rock, watch the beauty of sunset or dawn at this important pilgrimage site. Overnight at hotel in Kyaikhtiyo.
Day 3 Kyaikhtiyo – Bago – Yangon
After breakfast, return to Yangon. Before proceed to Yangon and sightseeing at Bago, the ancient Mon Capital. Sightseeing tour highlights include the Shwemawdaw Pagoda, over a thousand years old; its spire is even taller than Shwedagon Pagoda. The 55 meter long reclining Shwethalyaung Buddha image and Kyaik Pun Paya consists of four (100ft-high)sitting buddhas. Return to Yangon through rural landscape of paddy fields and small villages. Overnight at hotel in Yangon.
Day 4 Yangon – Heho - Pindaya- Inle
Transfer to airport and flight to Heho. Upon arrival in Heho, drive to Pindaya (1hr).Visit the famous Shwe Oo Min natural cave pagoda, a massive limestone cavern filled with 9000 gilded Buddha statues, then stop at a Shan Paper workshop.
In the afternoon , we proceed to Nyaung Shwe (driving about 2hrs).If possible , you can visit Shwe Yan Pyay monastery and temple end of 19th century. Transfer by own your local boat to hotel on the lake.
Day 5 Indein – Inle
Breakfast at hotel. Visit the 5-day local market where minority people sell their products.(on market day only).Then we take a long-tailed boat across the lake to Indaing (Indein) at the western end of Inle lake. Back along the canal to the lake, visit Phaung Taw Oo pagoda.
In the afternoon , we visit Nampan village as well as stopping to see some traditional handicrafts. Silk weaving, lotus and silk weaving, a cheroot workshop and blacksmith. Continue to the typical floating gardens and across the traditional village of Kaylyar. Returning back to the hotel.
Day 6 Heho - Mdy - Ava- Amarapura- Mdy (By Boat)
Transfer to Heho airport and flight to Mandalay. Arrive to Mandalay, drive to Ava (40min). Across the river Myintnge (within 7 min).
The former royal capital of Innwa (Ava) located on an island
between the Ayeyarwaddy and the Myitnge rivers. A local ferry carries you to the island where you will be visit pass through the ancient city walls to visit the earliest 19 Century style of brick and stucco monastery Maha Aungmye Bonzan and continue to the impressive wooden monastery of Bagaya.
In the afternoon, visit to Sagaing Hill, the hills here are dotted with numerous pagodas and monasteries. Return across the Ayeyarwaddy River to Amarapura , south of Mandalay , take a sunset stroll an U Bein Bridge.Which at over 1.2 km is believed to be the longest teak bridge in the world. Return to your hotel in Mandalay.
Day 7 Mandalay – Mingun – Mandalay
Breakfast at the hotel.
Visit to Mingun cross the Ayeyaweddy River with private boat take about one and half hour and visit Mingun village , unfinished Pagoda, the largest bell (90 tons), Mya Thein Tan Pagoda called a little Taj Mahal in Myanmar and then back to Mandalay in the afternoon.
In the afternoon ,visit to Maha Muni , gold leaf , Shwe Nan Daw monastery , Kuthodaw Pagoda and then sunset on the Mandalay Hill.
Day 8 Mandalay – Bagan (By Car )
Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Bagan 4 hrs. Arrive and check in at hotel.
In the afternoon, visit Archaeological sight of Bagan and sunset in the vicinity of Bagan’s ancient monuments.
Day 9 Bagan
Breakfast at hotel.
Start your tour to the colourful of local market, continuing with the visit of most important pagodas and temples in Bagan: Shwezigon Pagoda, Gubyaukgyi (Wetkyi-inn).Then , Htilominlo temple and continue to Ananda temple one of the finest and largest pagodas in Bagan.
In the afternoon , visit a lacquer crafts man’s workshop .Continue to Manuha Temple built in Mon style in 1059.Nanpaya temple and Sunset in the vicinity of Bagan’s ancient monuments.
Day 10 Bagan -Popa- Bagan
A half day to excursion around Bagan. Drive to Mt.Popa (about 50km/1 hr 15 min) from Bagan. Mt. Popa is the spiritual Head quater to Myanmar’s famous 37 Nats and the most popular location in the country for Nat worship. We visit Popa Taung Kalat 740m with a gilded Buddhist temple accessed by 777steps, an energetic climb rewarded by tabulaous Views from the top. Then , back to Bagan.
In the afternoon, we visit a New Bagan site, Village Min Nan Thu, Paya Than Zou, Nandamanya temple with mural painting. Sunset at one of the famous pagoda in Bagan.
Day 11 Bgn – Yangon (By Flight)
Breakfast at hotel, visit local market (if possible ) and transfer to airport and fly to Yangon. Arrive to Yangon and transfer to international departure.
