Day 1) Arrival Yangon
Arrive at Yangon International Airport. Welcome by our tour guide and transfer to Hotel. Yangon sightseeing begins by visiting Chaukhtatkyi Pagoda which houses the fourth largest colossal reclining Buddha, Kabar Aye ( World Peace ) Pagoda, which is significant for its Sixth Synod which was held in its large compound in 1954, Mahapasana Cave, located in the same compound and then photo stop at the heart of Yangon such as Sule Pagoda, Maha Bandoola Garden with Independence Monument, City Hall and many colonial style buildings. Proceed to the Shwedagon Pagoda, one of the most sacred and holy place for all Myanmar Buddhists. Watch sunset from Shwedagon Pagoda. Stay overnight at Hotel in Yangon.
Day 2) Yangon - Heho – Inle
After breakfast, transfer to Yangon airport for domestic flight to Heho. Upon arrival, you have to take a scenic route to Nyaung Shwe Jetty by traveling the uphill and winding road over the Shan Plateau. Proceed by boat to your hotel on the lake. Then, start an excursion by boat on Inle Lake admiring the view of famous leg-rowers, typical floating gardens, local methods of fishing and village life. Further visits are made to Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda,the weaving village of Inpawkhon, blacksmith, silver smith, cheroot Industry and boat making factory etc. and Ngaphae ChaungMonastery where ancient statues of Buddha in various sizes can be admired. Overnight at hotel in Inle.
Day 3) Inle Lake
After breakfast, take a boat to observe the procession ceremony of four of the five Buddha Images of Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda. Each year in the Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda Festival time, four of five Buddha images housed in Pagoda leave the Pagoda Shrine to make a procession trip lasting for eighteen days. Images are carried on the ‘Karaweik Royal Barge’ pulled by hundreds of leg-rowers.. The images stop at the villages in the Inle Lake for one or two days for homage by the people. On each and every stop grand ceremony and boat racing are held. The four Buddha images will arrive Nyaung Shwe from Lin Kin where they stay overnight. At 10:00 am to 11:00 am is the traditional boat racing in the Inlay Lake. The four Buddha images would be in Nyaung Shwe for three nights. During those days, the people from surrounding villages come to pay homage to Buddha images. Watch the boat competition. Stay overnight at hotel in Inle.
Day 4 ) Inle - Taunggyi – Kalaw
After breakfast, drive to Taunggyi. Sightseeings in Taunggyi include Shan Tribal Museum, Local Market and Yat Taw Mu Pagoda in the southwestern part of Taunggyi which features a large standing Buddha. There happens a market day in this region after every 5 days taking place in every town in Shan State. Many ethnic nationalities, especially the Pa-Os and the Shans can be seen in their distinctive costumes in the marketplace Proceed to Kalaw along a scenic route The town is nestled in the heart of the studded Shan Hill. Visit around Kalaw. Overnight at hotel in Kalaw.
Day 5 ) Kalaw - Pindaya - Heho –Yangon
After breakfast, drive to Pindaya and visit Pindaya Caves ( Shwe -Umin or Golden Cave). Proceed to study bamboo umbrella making, paper making , then to Pindaya Lake and the aged thousand years old banyan trees. Transfer to airport for flight back to Yangon. Transfer to hotel. Leisure time at hotel. Overnight at Hotel in Yangon.
Day 6 ) Departure Yangon
After breakfast, visit to Bogyoke (Scott) Market with gems and souvenir shops, China Town and drive to local restaurant. After lunch, drive back to hotel and leisure at hotel before your check-out .Then, transfer to airport for your departure from Myanmar.
